What I really honestly want is just to be working steadily... I would love to just be on a great TV show and have it run for awhile. Carla Gallo awhilegreathonestly Change image and share on social
My late wife Olympia was Goan and I've been to India many times. I love the food there. We used to do our shopping in Southall, where you can find cheap but wonderful fruit like mangoes, vegetables and spices. I didn't do much of the cooking, as Olympia did a lot - I was the under-chef and did some of the chopping. Vince Cable cheapchefchop share on social
When you love someone so much that you are in pain when you are apart it ends up being destructive. I never want to be in that place again. Sadie Frost destructiveendlove Change image and share on social
Christmas can have a real melancholy aspect, 'cause it packages itself as this idea of perfect family cohesion and love, and you're always going to come up short when you measure your personal life against the idealized personal lives that are constantly thrust in our faces, primarily by TV commercials. I really, really love music. I'm affected by it and uplifted by it, and made to laugh and cry, and almost fall in love with the person who has made me feel so brilliant and communicated so profoundly to me. Siobhan Fahey affectbrilliantcommunicate share on social
I didn't realize how many actresses have tons of extensions. Their hair is still pretty, but it blew my mind to find that out. I admire the girls who switch it up a lot like Rihanna. But I also love Gisele Bundchen because she found a style that works and never changes it. Shay Mitchell actressadmireblow share on social
As a species, we are most animated when our days and nights on Earth are touched by the natural world. We can find immeasurable joy in the birth of a child, a great work of art, or falling in love. Richard Louv animateartbirth Change image and share on social
I love Christmas. Frosty the Snowman, peace on Earth and mangers, Salvation Army bell ringers and reindeer, the movie 'Meet Me in St. Louis,' office parties and cookies. Mo Rocca armybellchristmas Change image and share on social
The core of the person is what he or she loves, and that is bound up with what they worship - that insight recalibrates the radar for cultural analysis. The rituals and practices that form our loves spill out well beyond the sanctuary. Many secular liturgies are trying to get us to love some other kingdom and some other gods.
