My attitude goes back to my childhood. I used to audition for theatrical roles, and you can't stand out in a room full of ambitious eight-year-old girls by acting the wallflower. I realised then that I couldn't do things half-heartedly.

I don't feel as though I am under any pressure to return to Australia, given I won the PGA Championship, and I am just hoping everyone back home will understand my situation. I just want to make sure I am there for Ellie and that she has my support when she has our second child.

We exist in this weirdly schizo culture, where sex is everywhere in the media, and yet, at the same time, you don't sit down and have a conversation about what you did in bed last night with your friends. Despite the ubiquity of sex, it's still a taboo when it comes to day-to-day conversation.
