There was a darkness, a melancholy, that people had trouble accepting. Maybe now, it would work better.

I'd even say it's a realistic film because that's the way it happens in our heads; that was the idea.

Before I die, I will preach to the Muslims in the Arab world. I will preach in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. I will preach in Tehran. I will do it under the umbrella of God. And see its impact.

If you're going to go to an audition, you don't want to go in trying to force yourself into some archetype that has been thought up by a director and translated by a casting director.
