The Internet represented a really important tool that would be used by every business out there to some extent. But for the vast majority of companies to say, 'We're an Internet company,' is a little bit like saying, 'We're a fax company because we have a fax machine.'

Over the past decade... while many businesses have pursued what I call 'business as usual,' I have been part of a different, smaller business movement, one that tried to put idealism back on the agenda.

I am so tired of ruggedly handsome heroes. I don't know too many ruggedly handsome people who are necessarily nice people. In fact, the beautiful people have a big handicap because they rely too much on their appearance and don't bother to become interesting.
