I have social anxiety. It's easier up on stage because there's security in being there. When I'm off stage I'm trying not to be a manic freak. I'm quite shy.

I'm sensitive and get easily upset and insulted.

I'm an advocate of 'it's not what you are, it's who you are.'

To my family and friends, I'm very definitely a clown. But do you know what? Doing a drama would almost seem easy because I wouldn't need to find that gag in a line.

I have a naturally camp sensibility and a camp sense of humour. I love the icons that gay people love.

When you're as plain as I am, you've gotta have a gimmick.
