I know I'm funny, because I'm eccentric, I'm odd. I'm not what you expect.

I have had a career in which, almost without exception, every single person I've worked with has helped me.

Unfortunately, there are mental invalids of every age who exist on other people's terms. It's lazy for older persons to let others make up their minds for them. People have to overcome that.

My first career ambitions involved turning into a boy; I intended to be either a railway guard or a knight errant.

It is hardly surprising that women concentrate on the way they look instead of what is in their minds since not much has been put in their minds to begin with.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.
