I can write best in the silence and solitude of the night, when everyone has retired.

Today I began the novel that I determined to be great.

Work is my salvation. It changes my moods.

After my swims this weekend I think coach realized, you know what, you have to have a good one getting out of this meet. So I put the suit on and had a decent swim.

There's a whole bunch of unfinished stuff. Then I've got books of lyrics. I find it frustrating to finish a song and not be able to record it... so I don't write a million songs.

I've always been very determined, ever since I was a little girl, to make my way.
