Vanity

I never thought, 'Oh God, I'm in Prince's shadow.' He'd been performing for years, and he was my teacher.

Every day, I wake up and say, 'Good Morning, Jesus.'

I don't listen to my old music of Vanity's unless I have to hear it playing in a mall or something place like that.

It is good to be in front of the lens to appreciate more being behind the lens.

Before I die, I will preach to the Muslims in the Arab world. I will preach in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. I will preach in Tehran. I will do it under the umbrella of God. And see its impact.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.
