When I can't do something, this always impels me to study it.

I wrote the very first stories in science fiction which dealt with homosexuality, The World Well Lost and Affair With a Green Monkey.

I wanted to be a teacher, but I was a lousy student, one of the slowest readers. It was a tremendous struggle. But I'm lucky I had some teachers who saw something in me.

The harmony of the luncheon is achieved by a combination of the two main courses which are the focus of the menu.
