Every time I go to a movie, it's magic, no matter what the movie's about.

I don't make unconventional stories; I don't make non-linear stories. I like linear storytelling a lot.

The public has an appetite for anything about imagination - anything that is as far away from reality as is creatively possible.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.

It took me realizing that a broken heart has never actually killed anyone to find the courage to ask for what I want, in just about every situation. That was part of my own growing up.

I'm a big action junkie. I grew up on the '80s action movies - the bad ones and the good ones.
