A lot of people say I wouldn't have a down day, but you look at the music and there's real melancholy.

But when our first album came out, I didn't think it was going to sell a lot of records.

There's usually a rhythm and a melody in my head, and that creates an emotional state.

I watch comedies most of the time. That's what I gravitate toward. But I think the kinds of roles people see me in are sort of the opposite of that. I'm not really sure why.

There was a lot of me trying to be a 'fixer.' I was that kind of guy. I'd meet someone who had 'so much potential' that needed 'help.' I think that was kind of my curse for a long time.

Institutional memory is important in any organization, but so are fresh ideas.
