Growing up in an Italian family, we used our body to convey a message.

Sometimes it's cool to have banter with the audience. Occasionally, somebody will say something, and I'll say something right back, and everybody laughs, and it's funny.

I don't like long jokes. I like stories rather than setup punchlines.

I laugh at absurdity hardest, then stories, then observations, then bearded men on roller skates.

I don't like to get in front of people.

It's hard to imagine anyone interested in film not being a fan of Alfred Hitchcock because he's such a key influence on the entire history of cinema - it's hard to escape his shadow.
