My mother was Indian, brought up in Delhi. My grandparents were born in Bow and Poplar.

I've never sent an email in my life. My kids laugh. I often hand the phone to them and say, 'Can you text this message to somebody.' I don't even have a computer on my desk.

Well, I actually wrote her a letter a couple of days ago congratulating her. The tone I tried to convey in the letter is, look, you are a part of a great American historical process.

I'd date someone younger or older; age doesn't matter to me. Or looks, really - it's all about maturity.
