Doctor Who is like any long-running series in that the cast tend to look to the star to set the general tone. Rehearsals and filming could be a lot of fun.

I thought The Visitation was good fun. We did some of that filming at Ealing on the big set.

I like the stories with the historical themes.

Classical music presents some of the world's most challenging pieces.

I don't profess to have music as my big wheel and there are a number of other things as important to me apart from music. Theatre and mime, for instance.

I would've done anything to work with Satyajit Ray.
