I play blues old-timey style.

What I learned I learned on my own. I didn't have much school. Three years.

I grew up hard. I picked cotton and plowed with the mule and fixed the cars and played with the guitar and the piano.

I don't think they're going to pay me to play Mufasa.

My first instrument was the piano; I played in the church, and before that I sang in church. I didn't learn the guitar until I was 24 years old.

It is good to be in front of the lens to appreciate more being behind the lens.
