I've always loved music. I listen to music the way a lot of actors watch movies.

The 'Gossip Girl' idea and ideologies, like, they sort of encourage this certain kind of, like, materialism and superficiality that isn't, I would say, the best thing in the world.

I couldn't date someone who didn't like dogs. There are exceptions to the rule, but I find that if someone doesn't like animals, I am a little suspicious of them.

I am a disaster magnet. I came home from our first anniversary vacation with jellyfish stings, a puncture wound from a wrought iron pineapple and a cork-shaped bruise in my cleavage.

I don't like labels. I think they conceal more than they reveal, sort of like a bikini.

I have a lot of kids in my district who haven't been to the beach, much less Washington, D.C., and that's 20 miles away.
