A room full of hundreds, let alone thousands, of people is not my most fun thing in the world.

I try not to be too profane around children or old people. Other than that, that's how I speak.

I just want to play strong characters, whatever that is in. For me, television is where it's at. You get to play a character for a long period of time, and you get to dig deep. It's a home to go to.

Well, I actually wrote her a letter a couple of days ago congratulating her. The tone I tried to convey in the letter is, look, you are a part of a great American historical process.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.

I don't think they're going to pay me to play Mufasa.
