Outside of family, writing is essential. To me, it's like breathing.

The reasons kids get into trouble in one way or another is because - Who ever told them they were special?

As a young child my attention span was, as I remember it, rather short.

I know I'm not the kind of person who's gonna wind up a walking jukebox, like many rock 'n' roll artists. They just play their hits and that's it. That doesn't appeal to me.

If you're not having a good time, find something else that gives you some joy in life.
