I've been blessed with a wonderful husband, two caring daughters and sons-in-law, and four really special grandchildren. They have each enhanced my life.

I never have tantrums. If anything makes me mad, I'm silent. If I'm not talking, leave me alone.

The truth sustains me.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.

I had siblings from South Asia, from East Asia, from depressed communities around America, and you know, we'd have long conversations.
