There is no substitute - none - for American power.

As brutal as Saddam Hussein was, it was a mistake to just eliminate him. The same is true for Moammar Gadhafi and for Libya, which is now a failed state.

The lack of trust between the federal government and the American citizens of this country is such a wide gap, we have to renew that trust for the people of this country going forward.

Another thing that freaks me out is time. Time is like a book. You have a beginning, a middle and an end. It's just a cycle.

It's good to like yourself, and that only comes from hard work, from doing. But vanity is dangerous; it can trip you badly.

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
