You and I probably wouldn't be here if our ancestors hadn't been greedy savages.

It might be inevitable that we have to confront the idea that our destiny is to be one world with one language.

There's room for a diversity of ages on television.

Although I write to entertain, and try to keep my work free of didacticism, I do have a rather passionate belief in our need to be connected to - and to learn from - history.

My perspective is cultural and world-based. It's always been a global perspective.
