For businesses, biomimicry is about bringing a new discipline - biology - to the design table. It's not to write an environmental impact statement, as most biologists in business do right now.

Conserving habitats is a wellspring for the next industrial revolution.

We were making the first step out of the age of chemistry and physics, and into the age of biology.

But we need to show that the EU can modernise itself, can adapt to the needs of its citizens, can take their views into account. That will be our ambition for the UK Presidency.
