My son don't have to say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud. He don't have to be called those crazy names.

Sometimes you struggle so hard to feed your family one way, you forget to feed them the other way, with spiritual nourishment. Everybody needs that.

I named my new son James Joseph Brown II. I think he's going to be a lot better than I was.

James Bond is quite serious about his drinks and clothing and cigarettes and food and all that sort of thing. There is nothing wry or amused about James Bond.

It would be much easier to just make black, brown and beige clothes. But I do not see the world in black and white and beige. I find colors incredibly important.

It's good to like yourself, and that only comes from hard work, from doing. But vanity is dangerous; it can trip you badly.
