One role blends into the next role. I mean, there's strange idiosyncrasies from roles that I play that I picked up that will never go away.

I was good at being a doctor; my patients liked me. At times people trust you with things they wouldn't tell their spouses. It was a real privilege.

I studied international relations and economics at the University of Virginia. I paid my way by working as a bartender in the summer and at three part-time jobs during the year.
