Of our seven children, five are at ABC Supply. The three older daughters went to college. The boys went into construction, and I wasn't disappointed they didn't go to college.

I became pregnant by my first love at 17 and did what my parents thought was the right thing. I married him. My first husband and I moved to Janesville, Wis., where he worked in a Chrysler plant.

I've always been very driven and knew that to get where I wanted to go, I could never give up.

Recently, I was in Bernalda, my dad's ancestral home town in Italy. He has just refurbished a palazzo and turned it into a hotel, so we had my sister's wedding there. It was beautiful.

I cannot cook to save my life. I'm really frighteningly useless, when you get down to it.

I know they call me a crazy lady, but I'm only interested in making movies and having people see them.
