Once I graduated from NYU, I started making custom vintage tees for my friends and it just took off from there.

I always take a less-is-more approach to my routine, and use products that create a sun-kissed glow that can transition from day to night.

I had always wanted to expand to beauty, but I knew I wanted to be able to translate my design aesthetic in an authentic way.

It's just very homey in Ireland. It's very comforting and comfortable. There's lots of fireplaces with fires. It's just really cozy.

Recently, I was in Bernalda, my dad's ancestral home town in Italy. He has just refurbished a palazzo and turned it into a hotel, so we had my sister's wedding there. It was beautiful.

In early 1993, when I was 12, I was separated from my family as the Sierra Leone civil war, which began two years earlier, came into my life.
