The first duty to children is to make them happy. If you have not made them so, you have wronged them. No other good they may get can make up for that.

Success soon palls. The joyous time is when the breeze first strikes your sails, and the waters rustle under your bows.

I believe in glamour. I am in favor of a little vanity. I don't rely on just my genes.

We define ourselves as intelligent. That's odd, because we're doing the definition - We're creating our own definition and saying, 'We are intelligent!'
