Frivolity is a stern taskmaster.

Comics is a language. It's a language most people understand intuitively.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, about 25 miles west of Detroit. And when you grow up in that area, you get a healthy dose of Motown automatically.

As a young child my attention span was, as I remember it, rather short.

Well, I actually wrote her a letter a couple of days ago congratulating her. The tone I tried to convey in the letter is, look, you are a part of a great American historical process.
