It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

Cartooning is about deconstruction: you gotta tear something down to make a joke.

I will go to my grave in a state of abject endless fascination that we all have the capacity to become emotionally involved with a personality that doesn't exist.

Another thing that freaks me out is time. Time is like a book. You have a beginning, a middle and an end. It's just a cycle.

So many cartoonists draw the same year after year. When they find a style, they stick with it. They don't mess with innovation, and they become boring.

I am thrilled to get the chance to write comics - and to tell Forgotten Realms tales, to boot!
