I love New York. I was sad, depressed and incredibly moved by our fellow countrymen and what they've done. I wanted to give people a chance to see something funny, have a distraction.

I was thinking of going to London drama schools or to New York, because France didn't accommodate the things I wanted to do in film.

I think for any actor, for the roles they deeply, truly want? They always have to audition for them.
