On Twitter, when someone would die, I would write a joke. Or if there's a tragedy, I would write a joke and tweet it. That was my thing, and then at a certain point, people started demanding it.

I like seeing what the comedian thinks is funny, not just what they think I'll think is funny.

I'm not the voice of reason; I'm more the guy using these offensive topics as fodder to raise tension in a joke.

Jokes are very curious things psychologically.

I just hate sitting and writing - I had to do that in school. Plus, I have terrible handwriting.

Well, I actually wrote her a letter a couple of days ago congratulating her. The tone I tried to convey in the letter is, look, you are a part of a great American historical process.
