After 9/11 and the impending actors' strike of a few years ago, roles dried up for everyone.

I am not getting any younger and am taking a new approach to life.

And I communed with many different faiths and even when I wanted to be rebellious I never did not believe in Him. I never believed the people who said God was destructive or punishing.

The cameo I did in 'Fellowship of the Ring' was I was in the street of Bree, and I was eating a carrot.

Well, I actually wrote her a letter a couple of days ago congratulating her. The tone I tried to convey in the letter is, look, you are a part of a great American historical process.

When I do my makeup, it kind of helps me get into the character that I'm trying to portray.
